Wilderness Village

I Applied for rental posted as “Dog friendly” and I met with the staff in person, bringing along all my pet’s information (including photos) as I filled out the application in front of them. I paid the application fee on the spot. The turn around process for the application was supposedly 72 hours but took over a week to process. When it finally processed, they informed me that I WOULD HAVE been approved, only now the fact of the matter is they actually do not allow any pets! They even refused to return my application fee stating it was “non refundable”.

Unfortunately, our experience at Wilderness Village has been very disappointing. We’ve had multiple appliance issues that took weeks to resolve, and a cracked, leaking toilet took two and a half weeks for maintenance to replace. If you put in a service request, expect them to show up at the most inconvenient time, because they don’t seem to follow any schedule, even when you specifically request a certain time. The main gates are frequently broken, and repairs often last only a few hours, which is concerning from a security standpoint.
