The good side: It’s a nice place and the installations are well taken care of, the building is okay, the lounge is super beautiful. The management acts really fast in repairing issues and that’s hugely appreciated. It has a great location if you’re a BU student as it’s close to the bus stop and it’s also close to downtown but without the noise of downtown. The bad side: If you plan on living here don’t count on them changing your roommate if you’re having issues with them, as they charge a fee of 300 if you NEED to move even though their room pairing system is really really bad.

DO NOT LIVE HERE — read this before you sign a lease I lived at Twin River Commons twice: once in 2020-2022 during undergrad, and again in 2025-2026. The difference is night and day. Back in 2020 it was genuinely great. Now it’s expensive, dirty, and run by management that seems more interested in nickel-and-diming residents than actually maintaining the property. When I moved in for my second lease, the apartment hadn’t been properly cleaned at all. Stains throughout, hair all over the bathroom, a clogged shower, and oil caked on the kitchen cabinets.

I co-signed a lease for my son at Twin River Commons. I'm in the multi-family housing business and was shocked at how unprofessional the management was. As one example, I was signed up for auto payment and they made changes to their system. When my last payment was not made I could not make a payment. I emailed the manager about this and received no feedback. They they charged me a $50 late fee. Stat away from this place!!
