The Verge at Grand Forks

Defiantly a step up from the UND dorms a ton of space for storage, and a solid amount of amenities. Staff are nice too, helped me a lot during the application process. However the place was dirty though when we initially moved in but they had replaced all of the floors before then. I live on the ground floor and there are some bugs coming into the place unfortunately. I honestly wouldn’t suggest this place if you’re not a student, but it is better than UNDs apartments.

if you are reading this. NEVER move into the verge. this was probably the worst living experience of my life. we moved into an apartment that already had a bunch of stuff broken in it such as the washer, towel racks, and the dirtiest floors imaginable (my roommate mopped 4 times the same day we moved in and the water was still coming out black) they do absolutely nothing to clean the apartment after tenants move out.

I lived here for 3 years. Is this place perfect? No, some summers the pool wasn’t open, and there was no shuttle offered by the verge like I assumed there would be after seeing pictures of it on their website until living here for over a year. However, for the price? It is pretty good. The lease itself is heavily weighed into the favor of the company, and breaking it feels almost impossible. I was one of the lucky people that ended up with great roommates, however, that is not the case for every tenant, and many end up with a different experience.
