Society for Classical Learning

The Society for Classical Learning exists to foster human flourishing by making classical Christian education thrive. Since the mid-1990s, The Society for Classical Learning (SCL) has facilitated thinking and discussion among professionals connected with Christ-centered education in the liberal arts tradition. Together with classicists, teachers, and lifelong learners , The Society provides a space for individuals to share their ideas, experience, and wisdom with each other as they deepen their understanding of classical theory and apply it within everyday, real-world education. The Society is committed to historic Christianity as expressed in the Nicene Creed and to exploring the relationship of Christ to the broader culture.
